we are there for you

Rape Crisis South London (RCSL) works in partnership with Rape Crisis England and Wales, Lincolnshire Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Services and Arch Teesside, to provide the nation’s 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line.

Support Line workers provide telephone support, information and signposting to survivors of sexual violence aged 16+ across the country.

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Line workers are there to listen and offer you emotional support for up to 45 minutes by chat or 40 minutes by phone. You can privately and safely talk about what happened to you, how you feel, and any difficulties you are facing.

You can also learn more about other services that may support survivors in your local area, such as: Rape Crisis centres or Sexual assault referral centres.

They can also help you start the process of reporting to the police if that is something you are considering.

Complete support:

You can speak anonymously. Support line workers will not be able to tell who you are, and you do not have to give them your name or any personal information

Will always speak with a real person— never a chatbot

Support line workers understand how sexual violence, abuse, and harassment work

Will listen, believe you, and support you without judgment
